Course Description:

This three day stone setting class is the basics to intermediate skill setting. All class projects materials are provided. In this class we will be focusing on stone setting and polishing-finishing skills.

All benches are equipped with simple hand tools that will be needed in this class.

 (Students are recommended to bring their own hand tools in the list)

Fundamental Skills Learned in this stone setting class:

• Safety at workstations and Tools
• Basic handling skills for different gemstones 
• Stone Setting: Bezel setting, Prong setting, V-prong setting, Tube setting, Flush setting. 

Core Assessment:

Day 1: Introduction, Bezel setting on a pendant, 4 prong setting round solitaire ring

Day 2: 3 stones ring tube-setting ring, V-prong setting, 

Day 3: Flush setting
